The VPC Board of Directors Issued This Important Statement Related to the Murder of Dr. George Tiller
The Valley Pregnancy Center strongly condemns the brutal act of violence that ended the life of Dr. George Tiller on Sunday, May 31st. It is never consistent with the pro-life ethic to take the life of another human being made in the image of God. We are deeply saddened to hear of the killing of Dr. Tiller and as much as we detest abortion and the killing of babies, we also detest this act of vigilante violence.
The Valley Pregnancy Center provides non-violent solutions to women who are facing unwanted or unplanned pregnancies. We only support loving, peaceful solutions to the abortion issue. Valley Pregnancy Centerís core values are rooted in respecting all life and the VPC works toward a culture of mutual respect and dignity. We condemn this anti-life act in the strongest terms. We ask you to join us at VPC in praying for the Tiller family in their grief, and for the nation--that we as a people might embrace life.
