Vision Statement"To be widely known and embraced by our community as the center of hope and healing for women facing critical life choices." A Brief Overview
The Valley Pregnancy Center helps those involved in an unplanned pregnancy to meet their spiritual, emotional and physical needs. VPC is first and foremost an outreach of love and concern. VPC opened its doors on October 31, 1988 and provides all pregnancy services free of charge to the women, men and families of all Tri-Valley communities. VPC is funded by individuals, churches and annual fundraising events and more than 65% of our services are provided by volunteers. VPC responds to the needs of all those involved in an unplanned pregnancy - PRESENT, PAST OR FUTURE - through confidential services and support groups. We have a Post Abortion Counseling and Education (PACE) program for those who feel a sense of loss or regret as a result of a past abortion. It is a caring and supportive program offering hope and help to women and men who want to resolve the emotional conflicts that can be left from an abortion, providing guidance in accepting the reality of abortion while processing the grief that can be left from such a significant loss. Individual counseling and group classes are available through a 13-week course. This program is designed to bring women (group led by women) and men (led by men & shorter study time) to forgiveness through Jesus Christ and to a place of new hope, peace and freedom in their lives. We also have a Post Abortion Education Panel of healed women and men who will share, through their stories, the impact of abortion and the healing and freedom available.
